FS: 2010 Gibson ES-335 Limited Run in Inverness Green

FS: 2010 Gibson ES-335 Limited Run in Inverness Green Selling my 2010 Gibson Memphis Custom Shop limited run ES-335 in Inverness Green as I’ve acquired another ES-335 that has a neck shape more agreeable to my (rather large) hands. I generally don’t get along with guitars that have thin necks...

I'll never be happy until I get...

I feel very fortunate to have been able to acquire the guitars I truly want. I mean, there will always be stuff that pops up that I'd love to have, but I'm very satisfied with what I've got and realize how lucky I've been to be in this position. That being said, there are two guitars that haunt...

If you were to buy a bass head today...

I'm curious what it would be? I've played guitar most of my life, but recently bough a bass and have really been getting into it. I admittedly know next to nothing about bass amps (you're telling me power tubes aren't necessary for good tone?!?!?!) and am curious what people think I should seek...

School me on DAWs, IRs, amp simulators and computer recording

Apologies if this has been asked to death, but I looked through the last year's worth of posts here in the Tips and Clips room and didn't see anything directly on-point, and with the speed that software moves, I figured going back much further may be fraught with stale info. So here it goes...

WTB: Gold Anodized Pickguard for 1962 Reissue Jazzmaster

Longshot, but does anyone have a Fender Jazzmaster anodized gold pickguard they're looking to sell that will fit a 1962 reissue? Fender doesn't seem to be offering these as a standalone part, at least that I've seen. Alternatively, if anyone knows of any good third-party options, that works, too.

2006 Taylor GS (Spruce/Rosewood) and Gibson 1964 ES-345 VOS (Frost Blue) for sale

It's been years since I've been on this site (funny how law school and then a career at a firm suck the life/time out of you) but I'm glad to see this place is still humming along. I'm looking to get rid of two guitars that just aren't getting the attention they deserve with my crazy schedule...

    Guitar Tech San Diego

Forgive me if this is the wrong place to ask (it's been forever and a day since I've been on here), but does anyone have any recommendations for a good/great guitar tech in San Diego? Much appreciated if you do. I wasn't able to easily dig anything up with the search function, though maybe I'm...

    Mesa Triple Crown cab choice

After selling my soul to school and then my job over the last 8 or so years (and getting rid of my amps in the process as I had no time to play live), I've decided to get back in the game and start playing with people again. I'm about *this* close to pulling the trigger on a high(ish) gain 50...

    Guitars you aspire to own...

Re: Guitars you aspire to own... I really don't feel a strong pull to buy anything currently, but I'd like a good Les Paul Custom: And I need another ES335 like I need a hole in the head, but this guitar has always haunted me:

    New Guitar: Taylor GC7

Imagine that, a new guitar thread where I not only actually have the guitar in my possession, but that is written after I've had to spend some time with the guitar and gather some thoughts. And here you'd thought they'd gone by the way of the dodo. The guitar is a Taylor GC7. It's got...

    Removing oxidation/tarnishing from hardware

Does anyone have a good remedy for getting the oxidation off of hardware? I realize that there isn't much I can do about the pitting, but I'd like to clean up the bridge on my guitar if possible. So, does anyone have any great tricks?

Fender P-Bass American Standard (Olympic White)

Title pretty much says it all. 2012 Fender US standard P-Bass. Olympic white with tortoise guard and a maple board. I bought it to use for recording but those plans kinda fell through and I could better use the money for other things seeing as how my start date for work got pushed back. The...

Say I'm looking to buy a bass and need some guidance...

I decided the next logical step for my writing/recording needs is to buy a bass. I'm tired of trying to squeeze bass sounds out of synth patches and I'm much more proficient on a stringed instrument. I like playing bass, even though I've never owned one, but I'm not really a bass player, so I...

    NGD - Hollowbody Hotness

Just received my Gibson ES-335 today. Inverness green. The neck is a little thinner than I am used to, but still very comfortable. Really hard to do this finish justice with a camera. Now all I need is a proper tortoiseshell guard. Anyone know of a good place to go? I ordered one from...

    Wanted: Gibson ES-335 Diamond

Looking for a Gibson ES-335 Diamond from the run they did a few years back. Specifically, I want a pearl white model with the stoptail bridge. Only interested in that specific color/bridge combo. If you or someone you know has one at an agreeable price, I am very interested. Let me know.
