I dont know much about blade switches but is it possible to wire a HSS setup to a 5-way and have a volume for the neck and another volume for the bridge and middle? Or do I just have to go master volume. Ideally I'd like to have 2 volumes as I dont use the tone knobs at all.

If you had a 1 Meg tone pot and ran on 10 would it sound pretty much like if there wasn't a tone pot at all? I know it wouldn't literally be "no load" but wouldn't it be pretty close? What would be the difference in tone having a 1 Meg tone pot compared to a 500K?
