    Twang Banger: Hot or Not?

    Is the Twang Banger for strat a hot pick up? Description says high output but it still has the blue square meaning moderate output!!?!?! Help me out please! Does it compare at all to the ssl-5/6? I'm thinking about getting the Twang Banger but I really hope it doesn't sound "ice-picky". does it?

    What potentiometers come on American Standard Strats? And have any of you used pots you would choose over these for a Strat build? I have no idea what I should use.

    Walter Trout tone

    Anyone know what kind of pickups Walter Trout uses? Are they hot or low output? They sound pretty hot to my ears. What SD pickups would get me close to his tone? I'm thinking ssl-5/6, or the ssl-3. The Hot may be TOO hot though.

    I'm confused by the antiquities for strat. Which ones are for which position? Is the Texas Hot custom bridge ONLY for the bridge? Does "surfer" mean it's ONLY for the neck? I know reverse wound obviously means it's for the middle position, but do they make it for the others to?
