I bought these off of Reverb and the seller is claiming they are early SD’s (JB/Jazz) out of an old Kramer. The back plate looks nothing like any Duncan’s that I’ve ever seen.

After years of dabbling, I've come to the conclusion that I'm an Alnico 2 pickup fan. I've got a Frankenstein in my custom strat and it sounds incredible IMO. I'm wondering if I'll love it just as much in my R9 or should I look at a Custom Custom?
Anyone here ever try this? The Aldrich bridge is a cool pickup, but at 17.5k it's too hot to my ears. The neck comes in at a comfortable 9k according to the Suhr site.
