Had the blackouts installed yesterday. Holy crap. This is sooooooooo sweet. They are in an ESP Horizon NT ll that used to have jb/59 combo. I a/b-ed it with an identical guitar with the jb/59 combo and OMG. Blackouts = sound on jb/59 = sound off. Ridiculous power with balls 'n all. To wrap it...

Is it possible to coil split the blackouts for reduced output or even a semi singulcoil tone ??

I read somewhere here that the blackouts have to much output for a pod. So I was wondering is that the case with Hd 147 and the vetta or is just the pods? I'm looking to buy actives and was looking at the classic EMG 81 85 set up when my local dealer pointed me in the direction of the Blackouts...
