I recently rewired my HSS guitar, everything seems to work fine but the notch positions seem to be quieter signalwise than the other positions but they still hum. Will reversing the leads on the middle pickup sort this out or do I need to switch the magnet or something?

Well it looks like we're getting a mid-high output humbucker for the forum pup but I've only got one slot or 2 if I get a new scratchplate so how high is too high to drop in the neck slot? I've got a custom in the bridge which is probably way to hot as well.
