There are 2 EG sig guitars the lower line runs a full set of the A 2 Marks Singles from Kiesel but the higher line runs the EG Sig A 4 pickups from Duncan.
I have Marks singles in my 23 Kiesel Delose with a Beryllium bridge, and they are very good. Tone and output is very close to the...
What makes Fret Doctor different is that it was created not for guitars but for restoration of Historic woodwind instruments by a chemist. Things like revolutionary War fifes etc. In that usage an instrument would be immersed or filled with boar oil and allowed to soak. It restores the Natural...
They are in the new Eric Gales Kiesel Sig guitars. Duncan's listed as A4 Eric Gales Sig pickups. Not much info on them from Kiesel so?

The trick with the Alt 8 is finding the sweet spot in height. In particular, not getting it too close to the strings. To close, and you loose sustain and also get weird overtones. Have owned several and when you find that sweet spot they can be pure magic.

Saved several guitars over the years with super dry fretboards bridges ect with it. The MG 132FR fretboard is just the latest example.
The most extreme was my 93 Carvin DC 127 in solid tung oil KOA. It was a pawn shop rescue from a shop...
When I first got the guitar and opened the case I thought it had a maple board at first. The Brazilian Rosewood fretboard was so dry it was bleached out and almost blond. This is the second of the old Washburn USA MG guitars that had been stored in the case for many years I have seen this...
Has everything to do with the humm. I came over to post that I solved the problem by swapping to an Eveready alkaline Energizer from the lithium version. Instantly it was quiet so??
One of my favorite set ups is an Alt 8 bridge with a Sentient neck. Think of it as the modern JB Jazz set up on steroids. With a custom color order you could match the polls as well and have something unique. I have this set up in my 93 tung oil KOA Carvin DC 127 and it absolutely kills. Super...
JB or Alt 8 bridge, Scooped Strat middle and neck is very nice for this. Have a set of the scooped Strats in my 95 Washburn Silverado now and really like them. May drop a set in my 95 Washburn MG 120 to replace the SSL1s it has a JB bridge.
Alt 8. It's a more modern tighter JB IMO. I have a couple JB's in guitars and a couple Alt 8's. To me the magic combo is a Alt 8 with a Sentient in the neck. Alt 8 and a Alinico II pro in the neck is also a solid combo.
