You asked about the PS3 and Xbox.

I myself have a PS3. I bought it because no Sony system in the past (ps1, ps2, psp) has ever had any issue like the Xbox, which heats up and fails.

It also has blu ray technology, which means you can also watch HD movies on it. Sony also stated that the PS3 wont be obsolete for at LEAST another 10 years.

many people like the Xbox, but the PS3 is just a much more robust system. in my eyes, it's much better quality as well.

while the Xbox is devoloping some sort of webcam and motion thing, kind of like the wii but with a webcam, the PS3 has a new controller called PSmove, which is much like a wii. it also has a camera, the Eye toy.
