i was having computer problems so i couldn't respond faster. I've got 3 tele's. 2 have alnico 2 pro's in the bridge, the other one has the tapped QP. The tapped tone is not as rich and full compared to the Al 2"s. Especially in one of the teles, the A2P sounds way better, the other tele, the tones are alot closer. I would say the tapped tone would have to be closest to a 54, or at least its close to the original tele pup i pulled out of it. If u want to sell the Hot Lead, I would be interested in buying it. I was hoping to get the tapped version of that, but that is one tele pup i would like to try, that and the 54. Oh one more thing. I've got a stacked vintage in the neck with the QP, and i really like it alot. you were saying you didn't want to go stacked.

I am getting kinda mixed reviews regarding the C5 pup........Anyways thnx for the info bro!! Could you post the link of any of ur recordings where Custom 5 has been used to proper Heavy stuff?? Thnx!!
