I think I'm going to put the PG's in the neck and the Duncan Distortion or the Duncan Custom in the bridge of my Les Paul. Does anyone know if there will too much of a difference in sound(level, volume, tone, etc...) when switching between the two? Either that or a Jazz in the neck.

I can do them on an acoustic so I know any pickup can do them. Just wondering if one of these is better that the other. I know the Zakk Wylde's are made for them but I think the ZW's are a little too harsh for me. thanks
Tough question I know. I have a LP custom silverburst that has the Classic 57 in them. They don't have enough punch for me. I love Billy Gibbons tone and Zakks tone. My concern is that the ZW set is too harsh and that the Pearlys won't be tough enough. Can anyone confirm or deny....or...
