Hi I just bought a bass off of Ebay (ya i know bad idea) and it was listed as having "seymour duncan vintage jazz pickups" in it. I opened the cavety and it has a 9V batter in it. Do the vintage series pickups come active? Seems odd if they do...how do I tell what pickups these really are. there...
