I was thinking about taking half a coil out of a stock schecter humbucker and half a coil out of a Dimarzio Tone Zone and joining them together to make a hybrid. I dont like the Tone Zone because it is too dark sounding and the stock Schecter pickup could use some warmth to it. Has anyone done...
