so for two years now ive had the 81b 85n combo, lately ive been searchin the pickups used by some of my favorite bands with good tone, and from himsa killswitch enagage, shadows fall, and god forbid, i found they all had tha 85 in the bridge so i finally swaped them out with eachother and HOLY...

im pretty horrible with finding amp settings on my own, could anyone tell me a good setup to get a avenenged sevenfold type tone from my amp, preferably syn gates lead tone, i whould appreciate it alot

in the new guitar world they have this feature on evh's new frankenstrat reproduction, it jus says its with fender but im asuuming it will be under charvel, didnt see anything yet on mass marketing it, but god i hope so.

im debating on wether to get the epi zakk wylde les paul or an edwards les pual custom, does anyone have experience with these two guitars?
