Alright, so I'm doing my own custom wiring job on my SG. I've got a 1MEG pot wired as a blend pot rather than using a switch. Problem is, anywhere in the middle sounds extremely muddy and quiet. So should I then put a .002 cap and 100k resistor from the left post to the middle and then...

I turned a 1 meg pot into a blender pot. But as with volume pots, when I twist the knob to the center position, it gets muddy and then clears up on full up or full down. So, in theory, the cap and resistor treble bleed mod would clean this up if I did it to both outer tabs on the pot. Right...

Anybody tried Carvin pups?

So I've done some experimenting. I can figure out how to do a coil cut on my Jazz HB. Thing is, it cuts the coil that has the slugs and not the screws. How do I cut the screws and leave on the slugs? Or am I gonna have to turn this thing upside down and have the SD logo be upside down?

Does anyone know where I can order a pickguard for an SG with H-S-S or even H-S-H?

I checked out an Ibanez Prestige? the other day that had the INF1 and 2 in it. I only had time to hear the neck pup on a clean amp. Damn that's a good sounding pup. I have a SD Jazz in my SG that doesn't sound as good.

Can someone point me to some new saddles for a Fender Jazzmaster? Graphite would be cool. And I'm talkin' direct replacement style!

How would one go about wiring a 3 two conducter humbuckers to one three way toggle without out the use of a mini toggle or push/pull pot? I know I could order a 3 pup toggle specifically for it, but how would you do it with just the normal 3 way toggle that would come in a 2 pup LP?

Has anyone tried this amp. I just got my hands on one that's in need of repair, so I'm not sure if I should be excited yet. Opinions?
