    Saddle alignment on a tele

Thanks for all the feedback. Let me start by saying, yea, you're right. A flat screw is the best solve. Now that I'm back home I went and looked through my handful of teles. All modern ones that I've built. They all have domed screws. It's never been an issue because the screws are so close to...

    Saddle alignment on a tele

I'd prefer to keep all of the period correct parts together if possible. Doesn't seem ridiculous to me.

    Saddle alignment on a tele

the only other idea I had, was to partially back out the left saddle grub screw on the low E saddle that is riding the screw head. That way it could sit in the right place without me having to change the screws. I'm out of town right now but will play with it this weekend and report back. Thanks...

    Saddle alignment on a tele

the screw on the bottom left of the bridge is the one that's pushing everything over to the right. I think.

    Saddle alignment on a tele

I picked up a great 77 tele custom not too long ago. Sounds great. Plays solid except for one thing. The high E keeps falling off the bottom of the fretboard. Not like it falls off and snaps back. But totally falls off and gets stuck on the side of the fretboard. I'd usually think it's the...

What's a good amp switching pedal?

My dear friend Chat, which I hate, but I still use, confirmed that there are such magical pedals but they are not cheap and impedance and something else. I'll just move my fat butt up and switch cords when I need to

how to ream a tuner hole on a bass

sorry, I should have clarified. I don't plan on doing a ton of basses and the hole needs just a tiny bit of reaming. I'm hoping we can get away with fixing this without having to buy a new reamer or massive drill bit I'll likely not use again regularly

how to ream a tuner hole on a bass

Building my first bass. I got a great allparts bass neck. I got some wonderful looking Badass tuners. The pre-drilled holes on the headstock are a little too small for the tuner bushings. Pretty normal. On a guitar I'd just use my reamer until I got a good fit. These are flipping massive holes...
