How do you guys have your CC wired? I have a MIM Fat Strat, but the previous owner put all 500k tone pots in it. Would there be big difference between leaving it wide open or using the middle 500k pot for the CC?

Has anyone sent their PGn in to be wound hotter? I'm thinking about 8-8.2k, I'd like to make it a little jucier, plus it would probably sound better coiltapped. What change in tone could I expect if any, would it add too much bass, or should I leave well enough alone?

What pickups would i use to help me get that tone, the notes seem explode and splatter through the speakers! I can't believe he's playing a strat on that song. Did he use some kind of pedal or is that all amp distortion?

Is there a noticable difference in tone say between a Dunlop 1.5mm and a Fender Medium. They make picks out of different materials like rosewood, ebony and horn that will effect tone obviously , but what about different gauge plastic? Also what would be a bigger change thicker pick gauge or...
