i have american standard 2000 strat, have a set of van zandt rock set currently installed, since the cavity (h-s-h) should be factory paint shielding, would adding copper tape shielding through out cavity help reduse more hum or not, any thoughts, thanks:fingersx:

have american hh strat s-1 switching, all pots are 500k .22 caps, just wondering what difference it would make if i discconnet tone pots as i never use them, wondering if it would make tone brighter, if so would you just disconnect wires from switch to tone pots and leave caps and ground wires...

:smack: installed 2 lil 59,s in tele getting a bad grouning hum, hum goes away when i touch the volumne or tone knob, seeems to get worse when i touch the strings, didn't notice till tonight when i played loud, any ideas? thanks:smack:

just put a lil 59 tele bridge & a lil 59n strat in my highwayone tele, it really sounds great, i have had a lil 59 tele bridge in a differeent tele before but felt it didn,t mix well with rhythm stack, but the 2 lil 59 ,s together sound great, anyway just thowing it out there:banana: :banana...

just wondering what you all think is the best pickup for sg standard, currently have 490n, angus young sig.,bridge, have tried a set of 59,s and a set of duncan dists, looking for a brite sound as guitar seems very dark, mainly for blues& rock,any suggestions? thanks:banana:

getting ready to put lil 59 bridge and lil 59 neck in highway one tele ,how come tele pickguards don,t have foil on them, also thinking about disconnecting tone pot, any thoughts? thanks:fingersx:

put a set of fralin blues in a highway one tele, seemed to get a underlying clicking noise in all three positions,( clicking sound would go away if i didn't use a pick) switched back to classic and rthynm stacks, clicking goes away. any ideas......... thanks: :smack: :smack: :smack:

got a gibson goldtone ga-15rv i6 ohmn output, have a marshall 2x12 8 ohmn mono or 16 ohmn stereo, i a have heard you can ususally go either up or down 1 time with ohmns, 8 to 16, or 16 to 8, any truth to this or will i fry my amp? thanks

thinking of installing 500 k pots on hss, either 59 or jb, 2 vintage rails, alder strat rosewood fretboard, had the jb in before with 250 pots sounded good however vintage rails were not bright enough

thinking of putting a classic stak+ in my tele neck position, anyone try this?

just swapped my classic stack plus bridge to the neck and put lil 59 in bridge, bridge stack seems to add a nice tone to the neck, a tad more output than the stk-4 neck i had there, anyone try this yet?
