    Ebay - What works best?

I've been posting tons of stuff on ebay, but since I only started my ebaying career about a month ago, I'd like to draw on y'all's collective knowledge as buyers and sellers. If I wanted to sell something for say, $500, would it be better to start at $0.99 with a reserve, or should I start the...

    Fralin P90s

I've got a mahogany LP copy (no maple top) with hot ceramic P90's, and I'm thinking about getting some Fralins for it. However, since I've never played good P90s, besides a Phat Cat neck, I don't know what percent of over/underwinds to get. I'm going to call Fralin, but I wanted to get y'all's...

    Blues Saraceno Trembucker?

My brother-in-law is asking me for suggestions for a match for a 59 neck in a Les Paul. The C5 looks a little too hot, but the Blues Saraceno Trembucker looks just right. However, Harmony Central reviews say it's really, really bassy. Anybody have any experience with it?

    Washburn semi-hollow w/Duncan pups

$325 + $50 shipping Washburn HB30 w/hardshell case - The guitar is in excellent condition with no belt buckle rash or anything. I was told the pickups are a C5 and a '59. I've never pulled them out to confirm, but that's what they sound like to me.

    Slow-down software

Does anybody know of a good program for slowing down music without changing pitch? I'm looking for a software alternative to that Tascam CD thing. Thanks.

    Guitar College

I just ran across the Guitar College courses, and they look like they cover a lot of ground in a very organized fashion. However, they're also very expensive, and I already own tons of instructional books and videos. Of course, they have the "been playing 100 years, own thousands of books...

    Tele pickups for country

I just bought a Yamaha Tele copy on ebay, and even though it hasn't arrived yet, I'm already making pickup swapping plans. (It's a sickness.) I'm wanting to get a twangy, spanky, country sound out of it. To give you an idea of the tone I'm after, I love the tones of guys like Brad Paisley, Alan...

    Gibson '57 Classics

I posted this over at the Les Paul Forum, but I haven't gotten any replies. I know Gibson makes the '57 Classic Plus. But, does the regular '57 Classic come in a different neck and bridge model, or is the same pickup used in both positions. In other words, if I buy a Gibson equipped with '57...

    Replacing P-90 w/mini hum?

I just bought one of those cheap Les Paul Jr. copies from Rondo, and even though it hasn't arrived yet, my mind's already racing with new pickup ideas. I was looking at the pickup dimensions, and it looks like mini humbuckers and soapbars may be interchangable. However, I've never had a guitar...

New Speaker for a Blues Junior

I have a Fender Blues Junior that I've been using a lot lately, and it's become one of my favorite amps. It's tiny and portable and has a good tone. However, I'd like to change from a good tone to a great tone. How much difference would a new speaker make? What speaker would y'all...

    Bare Knuckle pickups

Anyone tried these? The Black Dog set really caught my eye.

    DiMarzio PAF copies

So, what do y'all think of DiMarzio's pafs like the PAF, PAF Classics, and Air Classics? How do they compare to other pafs like the SD '59s, Seth Lovers, and Pearly Gates or Gibson 57 Classics?

Anybody know the web address for...

that site that had the PAF comparison between '57 Classics, Burstbuckers, Seth Lovers, Antiquities, and '59s? The site also had tips and reviews of various old Marshall re-issues and stuff. I think it's called "Tone" something or another.
