Re: Replacing my SSL5...for what ?
Nothing!
Actually the guitar i used for model..has the same ''problem''.
I've played live yesterday and liked. But maybe the 59 is too hot for me..maybe i'll forget all of it and install a regular SSL1...who knows!
Re: Replacing my SSL5...for what ?
* Update
I've just installed a 59'.
Will try live tonight..but i think it's not what i'm looking...let's see.
Also it's the normal version..it appears the Bass strings are misaligned.
"It's not the deffinitive pickguard also...was only for test purposes
So.
To make it short.
I have a SSS Strat....it came with SSL1/SSL5.
I really don't like the SSL5 at the bridge...it gives too much ''mids'' for my tastes...and i really feel the need for more''power'' when soloing....
Should i take a look on a full sized humbucker ?
Maybe what i really...
Re: Would you change positions or buy a SSL5 to be part of a SSL-1 pair.
So..
I went with SSL5 in the bridge...and used the mini toggle to conect the neck pickup as gilmour.
Gilmour is not an influence...
But i really like the sound of this guitar.
Thanks Guys!
Guys i got a Fender MIM Strat.
Came with 3 seymours.
I realized the wiring was all wrong. After re doing it i discovered :
The neck pickup was a SSL1 labeled Bridge position
Middle position SSL1 (no position mentioned)
The bridge Hot Rails was actually a Neck hot rails.
There's any diference...
