    Cover band merchandise?

    :smack: I need some opinions on band merchandise. Should a cover band try to sell their own tee shirts, when they don't even have a demo c.d. What is the best way to get your band's name out there? Should only original bands try to sell merchandise? I would appreciate some feedback.

    Effects Loop

    I have a 60 watt Pignose tube amp. Why should I run my effects pedals through the effects loop in the amp? I'm not sure why this is any different than going through the input of the amp. Any suggestions.

    Muffled sound

    I need some advice on achieving more clarity in my sound. I have a Schecter guitar, a Boss distortion pedal, and a Pignose 60 watt tube amp. I find that my sound is a little muffled at times, and was thinking about investing in an equalizer. I would appreciate any suggestions.
