OK so I am a weirdo... I saw some adapter brackets on ebay that allow tele pickups to be put into a humbucker cavity... I have an Gibson ES-137 that I can use to try this out... Man, I am dying to hear what this sounds like... Anyone know of a sound bite on the web where someone put tele...

do they make soapbar pickup covers that can accomodate a soapbar p90 .... or maybe buy a rear bracket ?

So I just bought an 08 Elitist Casino... Someone had replaced the neck pickup with a Lollar... But what is weird and annoying is that the neck pickup only sounds normal (treble wise) at max volume... when I turn down the volume on the neck pickup the treble starts to roll off also (quickly)...

So I went to re-install the original p90 pikcups in my Epi LP Special last night... and I noticed that there are two wires -- a red wire and a white wire. Do both of these wires get soldered to the pot ? What is the difference between these two wires ?

I just put a t top in the neck of my ES-137 with a 57 classic in the bridge... for now I am liking the change... What is the general concensus on the difference between vintage and new gibson buckers... ps. my t top has 1979 stamped on the back..

I wired up a harness with 500k pots to go with some Bryan Gunsher P90s (all A5 magnets).... What is y'alls opinion on 500k vs 250k for P90s ? Is there really a noticeable difference ?

I wired up a harness today for a les paul and I used a wire that was silver in color (I assume its aluminum) for the grounds (only)... I was wondering if that is ok ? In fact is aluminum wire OK to use for ALL of the guitar wiring ?

The soldering Iron I have does ok for small jobs like soldering wire to hot connections on pots... But it doesn't do weel if I want to solder wire to the top of the pot or if I had to solder a pickup cover... What power would I need ? What kind of soldering tools would you reccommend ? What do...
