hello, i just got a 65/66 bassman aa165 off ebay. cosmeticly, its in real good shape. however, i plug it in and... bad hum. the amp still has a 2-prong cord. would this be the problem? i hoping i would have to dish out for a cap job

ive found that all the dunlop/mxr pedals ive bought have become complete let downs. theyre too subtle and seem hide behind the signal, if that makes any sense. the carbon copy, rotovibe, wahs. anyone else notice this? and tone sucking... as well
