If I couldn’t solve it I’d try a compressor.

Looks great, I should imagine that blade pick ups would sound more even string to string and especially when bending? Love the colour scheme of this guitar.

I recently replaced 2 of my LP bridges ( both ABR 1’s) with Faber units, both with brass saddles and they seem pretty good. They do seem a little darker tone wise but nothing amp eq couldn’t fix. I think I’m going to order an ABM version to try, they are machined from a solid block and not cast...

This is the said beast, it was tucked away but as we are getting together tomorrow I’ve got it out and checked it over and all good.

Ah thanks man, but I have a beast of a P bass that I think really is the coolest bass ever.

It’s been a while but I’m sure I swapped the degaussed A5’s for UO A5’s in mine and liked them much better.

Just grabbed this one as my mates have suggested getting together for a jam on Friday after a few months off. This is probably my easiest playing bass, it’s got a slim neck, low action with TI flats, lightweight and versatile pick up config… shouldn’t be too taxing for a refresher.

Good luck with this, I’ve not the patience nor the capability although o love the idea. I’ll watch with interest, that chunk a wood will look great!
