As it says, I have a 7-string, active mount Retribution Blackout and I would dig a regular blackout-7, active mount. Or I'm also open to other high output 7-string pickups. That's it. Thanks!

As per the title, has anyone tried this? I currently have an El Diablo mounted in a Korean basswood Dean Razorback... I love the tone of the El Diablo.... If I were to make it "active" by installing a BMP, would it make it sound like a standard Blackput or would it still sound like an El...

Exactly this....high output, tight but prevalent bass, lots of low-mid growl, doesnt matter if there are a ton of highs but I would like some there... What do you guys (and gals) think? Lay it on me! Thanks for lookin!

Hey all... I have an Ibanez RGR421EXFM with a Dimarzio Super 3 in the bridge and a 4-conductor Duncan '59 in the neck... Love the '59... not so much the Super 3... I loved a Duncan distortion in the bridge when I had one....traded it....(dummy) I also REEEEEAAALLLY effin loved the Duncan Iommi...

It is what it is... Black winter pickup set... I've never cut the leads so its all there... Very much like new... Just can't mesh with em... They are badass and crunchy as hell... Really nice growl... They clean up fairly well... Is rather trade for pickups... Preferably medium to high output...

Hey all. Wonderful amp. I loved the JSX platform and that's what this amp is, minus a variable resonance control. That just wasn't cutting it so I installed one. Brilliant!! Then, it need a bit of a change in the gain department. As in MORE! MMMMMUUUUUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! So, on the third gain...
