I like the Quarter Pound Strat's large pole pieces and the tappable output, but I find them a bit too toppy/bright so they don't mesh with the rest of my rig. Would getting a set with A2 mags be a shop floor or full custom shop order?

I've wanted one for a while, and someone just offered to sell me one for $125. I found out that it was $130 new before being discontinued. Does $125 sound fair for a used price judging by its rarity despite being only 2 years old?

This song is so easy to play guitar to, and it's easy for me to sing, but the strumming pattern just kills me, and I can't ever do them together. Anyone have advice, because I haven't had problems with any other strumming patterns, just this one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92jnuNS84X0

I've been playing for about 5 years, and play every day for at least an hour, yet I'm still getting blisters and the skin on my fingers still peels after jams and long practices. Any one else still experience this? If so, is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening?
