I had EMGs on my Epiphone LesPaul replacing the stock pickups. Didn't like it because of too much mid frequency in it. So I placed the JB/Jazz set and it still has loud mids. It's good to play KISS ("Love Gun") stuff, but can't play Randy Rhoad's stuff. I love my Dimebucker on a Gibson SG...
