i just picked up a 2004 (Korean) Epiphone Les Paul '56 Gold Top. I'm not thrilled with the Epi P90's. Which SD P90's would be most period correct for this guitar? The Antiquity's?

Question for ya... The '59 LP PAF's were not potted, right? Or were they? So, does Billy Gibbons '59 have potted PAF's? If it doesn't why are the "Pearly Gates" potted?

I'm going to attempt to install a Pearly Gates bridge pick-up into my MIM Strat. This will be my first ever pick-up install. Can anyone point me to a good video or written w/pictures tutorial? I've watched the one on the SD site but it wasn't that helpful and it wasn't dealing with a humbucker.
