I have a 76 Strat with all original 70's gray bobbin flat pole piece pickups. I have replaced the original wiring harness with a five-way switch and modified with a tone control on the bridge and middle/neck share a common tone control.
But I'm wondering if there are some better Stratocaster...

Had a Seymourized Mini-Humbucker I bought for some unknown reason a while ago.
Decided it would be fitting in install in my tele.
I did have to route out the normal single coil to fit the pickup though. It was done freehand, so its not perfect.
But in the end, it did exactly what I hoped...
Looking for a used SD Mini-humbucker, SM-3N.
The one I bought a year or so ago is bad, didn't realize it until I went to use it.

While I could drill out the body a bit more to accommodate the pickups, I think a swap would be better.

For those few here that know me, I am obsessed with a guitar that feels comfortable in the hand.
Namely, I like thicker necks, usually in the neighborhood of .875 to .950 at the first and 1.00 at the 12th.
But the nut has to be a bit narrow.
The shape cannot have to much shoulders to them...
Nearly every guitar I've owned had Seymour Duncan pickups in them, usually those with weaker magnets and lower winds.
Nearly every guitar... Not this one....
