  • Hey man! Since you work in Louisville I thought I'd see if you're interested in meeting up for lunch sometime. I work just across US 36 in Superior. Could be fun to talk shop. I'm pretty Covid safe so it'd probably need to be somewhere with a patio if possible.
    Hey Devastone,

I just ordered one of those AMT R2 pedals. How did you get the best results? Did you use an OD/Tubescreamer with it?

I haven't tried the R2, I have used the S2, do have a P2, and have a B2 on the way, hoping it is a little less gainy than the P2. I mostly use my Boss GT-1000 now, but miss the whole pedal thing so I usually keep a few around. As far as best tones from what I have, the P2 will get plenty gainy on it's own, but I do occasionally boost it with a modded SD-1 for solos.

What kind of tones are you going for? I'm more of an old school player, not really a nu-metal down tuner or djent'er so take it FWIW.
Hey! First... Thank you for always being a pal and helping me so much! I appreciate it! Next, where are you in CO? My son was in Denver and I had to go out there after he passed.. One of my daughters recently moved to Greely. Ironically, one of my childhood buds lives in Greely. Moved there from OH after high school.. Was gonna meet up with him when I was out there, but I was limited on time and transportation .
Anyhow, thanks again for so often chiming in to help me!

Hey Bryan, just saw this today, thought it was old, but looks like you left it yesterday! First, how are things going for you, getting any better?

I'm in Longmont, about 10 miles east of Boulder and 10 - 15 miles north of Denver. I'm about 20 - 25 miles southwest of Greeley.

If you are ever out here, and have some time, definitely get in touch with me. My e-mail is [email protected].
Hey devastone. I just wanted to apologize to you for coming off like an a$$ in the "boosting a tube amp" thread. I made a mistake and used your quote in my post when I meant to use a different one from the guy who said himself that he felt his question may be dumb. My intention was to encourage the person to not feel as though asking a question is dumb, and to ask as many questions as he wants in the future. Again, my apologies, and I'll pay closer attention in the future to what I'm planning on posting, and how I post it.
