I've never tried this before. I have a Marshall DSL15 combo amp with a 16-ohm Creamback in it. I want to get a 20 watt tube head and use the DSL just as a cab. I'm pretty sure it can be done. Is there anything I should be wary of beforehand?

My EVH LBX II is marketed as having JJ preamp and power amp tubes. However, one uncovered tube is visible through the chassis and it's clearly marked as a Groove Tube. :?: Does JJ Tubes own Groove Tubes, or vice versa? Are the two not connected in any way?

I really like my SG, except the knobs. They wiggle a bit. Is there any way to stop them from doing so? I know it doesn't really affect the way the guitar plays, but it kinda drives me nuts just the same.

Yesterday I bought a Fender Mustang III combo amp. It has a button on the back labeled, "Ground Lift." Does anyone know what this is for? The owner's manual doesn't have any info on it, as far as I can tell. These are great amps, btw. I'm glad I gave them a second chance.
