I play hard rock and metal and installed the JJN Silencer in my Epi. Will it damage the pickup to replace the pole pieces with the gold Epi poles? Will it affect my sound drastically?

Will it affect the sound of the JJN Silencer if I swap the gold pole screws from the Epi p-90? Or will it damage either swapping them? I only wanna do it for aesthetic reasons. Lol
