    Stringlife

Has anyone tried this? I've been thinking about changing to coated Elixir and D'Addario's EXP strings to try too eek some more life out of the damn things, but apparently this stuff does the same trick - anyone tried it? http://www.stringlife.com/

    re-fret procedure

Anyone got a link or something that shows how a re-fret is done? I'm not thinking of trying it myself, but I'm curious about the procedure - especially how you remove the old frets... My old Les Paul badly needs new frets, but I'd like to see what's involved first... Thanks guys! EW

    Peavey Bandit 112 - anyone??

My 20 year old Bandit 112 is now pretty much dekcuf - and being an imaginative sort of chap, after some deliberation, I thought I'd just get me a new one! I can't go playing all the combos but I want something in the £200 - £250 (or ~ $500) region, MUST have a good clean sound, and then some...
