I just got in two alnico 8 magnets. Unfortunately they did not mark the poles like I asked. I dont have a tester or compass, is there another way? I can tell you this....if I lay the magnet on top of the custom between the screws and slugs....in one direction it repels and the other it pulls...

I have a Tb5 custom and it's too bright for me! I though of replacing the mag with an alnico 8 but them I read about the 59 hybrids. Problem is ,I am terrible with electronics and have a busy schedule. Would anyone mod two pickups for me for a fee? I would GREATLY appreciate the help...
