I am wondering if black or two tone cream/black would work without having to change the knobs to make it match nicely. If not, what about black pickguard + black tone knobs and pickups or black pickguard with white knobs and pickups?
Fender Atomic or Diamondback humbucker. Similar specs to a Pearly Gates. To me it sounds like one that I recently tried on a Lonestar Strat. What do you guys think?

I do not know why all the Internet pictures show this as a greyish color but it is basically pearl white. There is no grey to it. It is such a beauty I cannot stop looking at it. Before buying I examined every single detail of this guitar. It is flawless and the kind of quality you would EXPECT...
I am going passive with my Musicman Luke. It is only routed for HSS so I will need an HB and a couple of single hums. The body is alder with a birdseye maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. It is a little heavy for its size. It has a floating tremolo that I can use just like a Floyd Rose, up or...
Though I think I have finally reached a point in my soloing where I want to practice a lot less and create more music, I really want to brush up on my rhythm playing.
For some reason I seem to be in that group of people who approach songwriting from the melody first. I have a difficult time...
Is it as simple as unplugging the EMGs and plugging in Blackouts or do I have to redo the wiring too? Please explain the compatibility between the two brands.
I was playing a Music Man Luke model and it was like eating dog food on fine china with a gold fork. It's such a splendid guitar but the pickups are so awful. What gives? For those of you who are not familiar with Luke guitars, they are extremely fine guitars that come equipped with an EMG 85...
It could be that I am narrow minded but I think these accoustic flying Vs are somewhat ridiculous. I mean no one is going to be headbanging with an accoustic, at least not anyone in their right mind  Plus I think accoustic players tend to sit down more during performances than electric...
Marshall JVM 50 watt combo. Ooh my my what an amp. I played the 100watter a while with someone at the store who owns the amp. He demoed it for me showing me several variations of tone. I didn't think Marshall had it in them after the whole DSL and MG deals.
I was surprised with the clean...
I have had my eyes on this one for a while so I sat around for a couple of hours in the Guitar Center amp room and played this against the Strat. I have to say that I am extremely impressed with this guitar. I'll tell you about it because everyone who is interested in buying a quality guitar...
Les Paul Studio w/ebony fretboard. Will be used for a variety of music but mainly metal and soloing. I'm thinking PAF Pro in the neck but not sure. What are your suggestions?
