    How do I understand the specs on pickups to find the tone I'm looking for?

    I have a les Paul classic with a Gibson 57 and super 57 Stock. I like some of the tones outta the neck pickup but want to drop a set of Duncan's in it. How do I know what has a range I'm looking for ?
