- My SG has a Pearly Gates in the bridge, and a Duncan PAF in the neck, and it sounds great. I heard a rumor that the pickups in my Tregan, which sound awesome, are Duncan made Alnico V units. Nothing beats that Pearly Gates though...NOTHING
