Currently a living room rock star. Formerly a hard rock band member. I like all kinds of music as long as I think it is good, not to loyal to a genre. Currently trying to learn as much of the behind the scenes components of tone, i.e. tubes, pickups, etc. as I can. This site has been a tremendous tool in that search for knowledge.

- 80s JBJ and JBL really like the older JBs
'03 JB never really liked it as much as older ones. Seemed much thinner and shrill compared.
'03 Jazz neck never really like this pickup until I swapped the A5 for and A3. That fixed everything I disliked about it and now really dig that pup.
80s JNJ really loving this pickup. No need to swap the mag in this one, like the JB the older Jazz just feels and sounds better to me.
Custom Custom I had this in the neck of a guitar for years and never realized it was a trembucker. Silly me it sounded great, just a bit thick, but running through a Mesa it never really was a problem.
