Gonna pull the trigger on one of these. Which do you prefer and why?

New to the forum and looking to buy my first nice guitar so I came here for some help. I found a mint condition standard that has basically sat in a closet the past seven years - looks new. I can get it for $1,500... Is this an awesome deal? Should I still be looking at a new 2016 or 2017...
