I'm just wondering what would i need to get a 2 wire or 4 wire p/u for a 78 bronco guitar? I'm looking into getting a duncan but am unsure which to get. Any reccommendations? I'm into mostly punk. grunge, and a little tiny but of metal (not much though)

I know it's probably like a sin or something to bring this up on a seymour duncan board but oh well. Anyway, has anyone ever used dimarzio bass p-ups? If so how did you like the sound they put out? I am torn between the dimarzio hot rails style p bass and the seymour duncan qp basslines...

Mine has to be my '76 Fender Musicmaster bass, I love this bass!!!!! I am working on a collection of them I just love them to death. I Would like some old (not re-issue) mustangs as well.

anyone have a link to a site where you can't look up guitars/basses by serial # to see what year they are etc?

I recently got a single coil quarter pound basslines pickup for my bass and took it to a guitar shop to have it wired in and i was told that the pickup was dead!!! I just bought it from musicians friend and don't see why it dosen't work. Would this be covered by warranty??
