Hey, guys! I’ve long admired the guitar tones of Marilyn Manson’s Antichrist Superstar. Which of Duncan’s metal-oriented pickups would be best for copping those tones on a Les Paul Custom? Thanks!
What Duncan pickups are you guys using in your semi-hollowbodied guitars? I play more rock than jazz (think Dave Grohl) and an look by for a set for my ES-339. Thanks!
I’m sure many metal players prefer to get their distortion from their amp. But, I don’t have a metal/high-gain amp and won’t be getting one anytime soon. So, what pedal(s) should I run through my Fender Twin to cop metal tones? Thanks in advance.
P.S. I’m already hip to the ProCo Rat.
P.P.S...
I’m really lusting after the Wes Hauch signature Jupiter Rails pickup set. The sound samples in the promo video sound totally amazing. My only concern is that I may want more traditional pickups for greater versatility with some material. Are the Jupiter Rails pretty versatile or do you think...
Looking for single-coil pickup recommendations in an HSS Strat for grunge tones. My guitar has a poplar body, maple neck, with Indian Laurel fretboard. Planning to go with a Distortion bridge. Thanks!
This pickup looks like a Beast! 48k DCr? Seriously? I’d love to hear some tone samples. Anybody using this bad boy?

Anybody ever use this pre-wired pickguard or the Fender Gen 4 Noiseless Strat or Tim Shaw humbucker pickups?
