    S/S/H Strat Humbucker Suggestion

    Anyone have a good recommendation for a bridge humbucker in a Strat with 2 Hot Strat Single coils? I'm looking for a 60's classic rock/blues sound playing through a blackface amp getting my overdrive from the pedal and not so much the amp. Looking to match it output wise with the single coils...

    2 single coils to make humbucker

    Has anyone tried putting two single coils (one RWRP) in series right next to each other to make a humbucker? When you split it you'd have an authentic single coil sound at the very least but how did/would it sound together?
