The fuse didn't look blown but when plugged in it just no pilot light no sound, tried another iec cable and nothin! It's in my garage. Maybe sometime I'll try another fuse, but I'm not in a big hurry, as I feel like the amp was only ever just ok and I can't imagine wanting to use it much now...

If it is brand new like made within the last several years it's the IV version

They changed to a cooler bias, changed the point the reverb circuit taps off of to before the eq, and the bright cap value of the reverb, bypass and coupling caps of gain stages were changed

The 4 has a little more solid bass, less harsh treble, the reverb is smoother sounding, more balanced. I remember when the 4 came out I thought it was such an improvement. I would never personally buy a 3 now that the 4 exists, for me it just sounded more like the princeton and deluxe reverb...

I think it's best for higher depth and rate settings, At slow light shimmery settings I guess it matters a lot less! Like for some police riffs I don't care much It just sounds a little more polished and intentional when the wave is in time I feel like maybe it's more a subconscious thing or...
