I just saw the email for these and it sounds like a great idea, but wasn't this same idea applied to the "coil pack" pickups of a few years ago? What's the difference? Did the coil pack pickups die a slow death as I never hear about them anymore?
Also, when you click in the email where it...
I am surprised they were discontinued but glad to hear they may be making an upgraded version, so until then I will be hoping someone here has one they are not using and will be willing to sell. Let me know. Thanks.
I'm in the market for a Solstice and now see no one is selling them online and went to this forum and it said discontinued, and a new version later this year, but not sure if that was written back in 2015. Any news or updates would be appreciated.
I ordered a couple of sets of Floor Shop Custom pickups and the seller is saying they don't have mounting rings with them. Every TB-x pickup I have ever bought (production TB series as well as Shop Floor Custom pickups came with the trem spaced mounting ring. What's the deal?
Whatever happened to the Seymour Duncan employee that had those pink "BiotchBuckers"?
Sounded pretty cool and she was a new hire at that time. Wasn't her name Jessica or Jennifer? beotchbucker was a cool name too. I forget if it was a Jazz neck with ceramic and I forget what the bridge pickup...
I LOVE the new look of the Sentient, Nazgul and Pegasus 7/8 string models. Can we order a Shop Floor Custom for regular pickups like the Jazz, 59, Pearly Gates with that same matte black bobbin, black Seymour Duncan logo and the black nickel pole pieces? Would love to have a matching look if I...
Hey, just wondering if it is a standard sized humbucker size and if so, if anyone's tried it in the neck position in a guitar that fits normal sized humbuckers like a Les Paul? The cleans are supposed to be pretty nice and with 3 sounds in a neck position I am curious as it may be great or it...
Both brand new sets. I was expecting these to have the 45 degree offset mounting hole and I was advised by forum member appar111 that these are the Schaller M6 retro fits. Anyhow these are brand new and I am passing them along. I'd be interested in a straight up trade for other tuners...
Re: Fugly Bucker - Come and Get it
Did they decide to scrap the idea of sandblasting the rail bobbin? No biggie either way but the pics of the ones on here received by other forum members, and the 2 sets I ordered, look like the plain black rail bobbin of the assembled pickup in the first OP...
I bought a few of these and they are great for gigs at venues with a lack of outlets. Proper spacing for using wall warts which is something you can't do with the cheapo 6 outlet adapter strips from the Lowe-Wal-Depot type stores. New in plastic shell packaging $12.00.
