    Bad ground = less sustain?

    So I had a Lace Sensor Blue in the neck position wired directly to my output jack once, and it sustained like crazy. When I installed pots and a bridge pickup, I've got a little bit of buzzing and I noticed much less sustain. Could this be the culprit?
