is it possible to turn down one of the coils on the duncan hybrid pickup? i was thinking i would like to make the 59 coil a lil quieter than the custom coil. im looking to pair it with the jazz neck and i think it would work better if i could turn down the 59 coil plus i like the custom a lil...

would this work? or is the output too far apart. i would want it in a les paul. duncan custom/59 hybrid in the bridge and a sp90-1n in the neck. i know im gonna get some comments about the phat cat but i feel that it has too big of a sound. i would much rather have a regular p90 in there.
