Okay, so I am replacing some pickups in my guitar.
The stock ones were screwed directly to the body...
My Seymours do not fit the stock screws for mounting to the body, and the screws that came with them are not fit for screwing into wood. They did however come with mounting rings.
So what...
Splawn Quick Rod left and right... Marshall MG50DFX in the centre.
It isn't as tight as I'd like it to be but I like I still like the song. No solos recorded yet...

The other guitarist in my band is psyched about upgrading the pickups in his Jackson to Blackouts.
His Jackson comes stock with EMG HZ and has a built in boost, where if you pull out the knob you can crank the output way up. He's looking forward to combining that with the Blackouts.
Is that...
Hey I covered some of the kickass music from this game. The rhythm guitars are my strat with a '59 bridge. The leads are another guitar with the Distortion. Amp is my Splawn. Rawk!! :fart:

Emerson Lake and Palmer's "Knife Edge"... the metal version!
recorded the bass for this song yesterday and was pleased enough to mixdown, even though there's still plenty to record and mixing to do.
So the amp is...
Hey so I've got my 59 trembucker. I peeled back the tape and saw that the infamous wooden spacer they put in these pickups was metal. What gives? Do they not use wooden ones in the trembuckers?

I thought I'd cover this tune since it has so many great guitar layers. The guitar is my friend's JB equipped Fender... :19:
Hey guys. Here's a little demo recording I have made for reference as I work on this project of mine. I used my Tech21 Trademark 10 direct for the tones, left side is "California" and right is "British"... the guitar is my Mahogany body and maple necked Warmoth. The pickup is a JB. :fing2...
Hello everybody! I have a Full Shred set here that isn't in use, and I was wondering... how does the neck pickup fair as the bridge pickup in an H-S-S stratocaster? Mine has Texas Specials and I don't want a humbucker that will overpower them... I want an even spread of outputs.
And how does it...
