    Does this cab sound like a good deal?

    This guy on Craigs List is selling a 1988 Marshall 1960A with 4 Vintage 30s that were put in last year. He wants $450 for it and he says it sounds good and is cosmetically flawless except for one small place in the tolex on one side. He told me he is the original owner.

    Strat is noisier after installing push/pull pot

    My strat is all messed up

    The intonation is about 8 cents sharp on 3 strings and the screws at the end of the bridge dont even seem to have any affect at all. I know I am turning them correctly because I've done this a million times. Im not sure why this is happening so could someone help? Thanks.

    Pot ratings and my new pickups

    I have installed a JB, cool rail, and a hot rail in my strat. I've still got the 250k pots installed, but how would other pot ratings affect my tone? If I were to use 500k pots instead, would I change out all 3 of them? I don't completely understand how this works. Thanks.

    I need a versatile middle pickup

    I've decided to get a hot rail for the neck of my fat strat to go along with my JB in the bridge. Now I need a middle pickup that would sound good in the 2nd and 4th positions (I rarely use a middle pickup by itself). Also, would I need 500k pots if all 3 pickups are humbuckers? Im concerned...

    How can I know what pickup combinations sound like before installing them? Ive got a Fender Fat Strat with a TB-4 in the bridge and I don't know what to replace the stock single coils with.

    Why do my high notes sound like this?

    Screwholes dont line up in TB-4

    The screwholes in the TB-4 I bought for my fat strat dont exactly line up correctly when its placed in the guitar. What's the best solution for fixing this? If i need to cut the pickguard, what should I use? Thanks.

    TB-4 in a Standard Fat Strat?

    Im replacing the bridge pickup in my fat strat and I need to know if the TB-4 would be a good choice. Would I need to change out any pots? The other 2 pickups are stock and I may change them later. I dont want it to sound too bright. I play all types of rock but mostly metal.

    Tremucker or Regular Humbucker

    I have a Fender Fat Strat and I want to switch out the humbucker but Im not sure whether I should get a trembucker or regular humbucker? The string spacing is exactly 2" across. Thanks.

    Fat strat

    I plan on getting a Duncan JB for my fat strat and I was wondering if I need to rewire the tone control to the bridge position after installing it. Would you guys recommend doing this or does it sound fine without rewiring?
