FSOT: Pearly Gates set in Zebra , EMG 81/89 set

Re: FSOT: Pearly Gates set in Zebra , EMG 81/89 set Here's a picture of the EMG set - the push\pull pot is the volume pot, and for the 89, switches it between single coil and humbucker mode. other one is a tone pot.

Looking for Alnico 2 Pro Bridge Humbucker

Preferably in zebra. I have: an SH-11 , Bridge, Zebra, No logo. Which I would trade for it. If not, I have cash. I know it's a long shot but hopefully someone here has one in zebra ! Sent from my SM-G965W using Tapatalk

'59 vs. Alnico II Pro bridge for southern rock?

I have a Gibson SG Diablo (thick maple top) I wanna use for a classic rock project. The main influence as far as guitar tones will be Lynyrd Skynyrd. The guitar already has an Alnico II Pro Neck, which I like, but the custom custom in the bridge is way too hot for this project. I have it...

Can you order these logo covers ?

I have a Jackson Kelly in black with a great set of pickups in her. A custom and 59 combo. The only problem is I ordered them in zebra with no logos. At first I liked the classy look but I'm getting pretty tired of it and I wish I would've just ordered them in black with logos. However I've...

    Advice for my SR505

I have a Soundgear SR505. I bought it for a steal , as the electronics were damaged . It has the active Bartolini pickups, MK1-5, and the battery connector was apparently damaged. I fixed that, but it still has problems and cuts out from time to time, but it's fine in the studio, and I've...

FSOT: Pearly Gates set in Zebra , EMG 81/89 set

Selling both the following sets Pearly Gates set : SOLD EMG 81/89 set : Its in good condition but they're older, like pre-solderless. I'm guessing 1995 ish. The gold logo on the 89 is just ever so slightly faded, otherwise really good condition for their age. They come with a 25k push pull...

    Wiring help...

I have an Ibanez with the attached wiring scheme. I like it a lot but I miss my beloved Bridge+Neck humbucker position that my 3 way switch guitars have. Is there a clever way I can add that back in to this guitar? Like could you do it with a push pull pot or something ? Any ideas ? Thanks...

What would be a good middle pickup for a Full Shred set?

5 way switch with auto split. If I wanted to get true single coil tones on the splits. Strat-mojo in nature .. I'm into the idea of an APS-1, cause I just think an alnico 2 vintage strat pickup would add some serious mojo to the guitar. But worried about volume dropoff in the split positions...

    The perfect Dimarzio HSH set

Im searching for the perfect HSH set for a versatile axe. I'm looking to go Dimarzio on this , as I have several guitars already with Duncans. My favorite Duncan setup is Custom (B) and 59'(Neck) Looking for something similar on the Dimarzio line. Bridge pickup should be fat and powerful...

    EMG 81 wiring problem

I recently got an RR24 that had a passive duncan in it, but it came with the original EMG 81, a stereo jack and a 25k pot . It's a single hum, single volume control guitar. It didn't have all the newfangled quick connect stuff, nor could I find an older EMG wiring guide that reflects the older...

why does the dimebucker come with...

a neck pickup mounting ring? when it's definately supposed to be bridge pup? It actually looks kind of cool, because the pickup has a plastic shell body around it and it raises up out of the mounting ring.. so, is it just the cosmetic design choice?

    Question about the dimebucker.

I just bought one and noticed something bad about it right after installing it.. it seems that you cannot use it with a guitar that has a pickguard! let me explain. most pickups have those long extended metal tabs under the pickup, right? well this one doesn't.. they're right on it.. meaning...
