Hi! Got a set of ants for my historic les paul 1956 model. Noticed that the bridge cover is notched and show a gap way before they should. Are there several options for covers? Or are the duncans made for another model?

Noticed some small cracks in the slug bobbin. Looked like the ones other members posted last year. Right out of the box. Removed the bobbin to take a closer look. This is what I found. Most of my 40-50 duncans are vintage with CAB bobbins. This is a 2011 bobbin.
