Duncan Pups I Have Experience With...
I have Seymour Duncan Stag Mag Humbuckers in 3 of my guitars...this pickup has is as hot as the JB...but works great with my preferred EQ...scooped mid, maxed bass, medium treble. Most of my drastic tone changes are done with guitar volume knob and my Stag Mag (or Hot Rails) bridge pickups...or by blending or switching to my low powered mid & neck pickups, including the SD Jazz, and SD Stacked Strat & Tele. Of course the Marshall is always on high gain settings...but a good 500k pot and a pickup selector controlling these great SD pickups are way better than any Channel Changer or Stomp Box !.
